Re-Timer SAD Light Therapy Glasses

Are The “Innovative” Re-Timer wearable SAD Light Glasses A Step in the Right Direction?

Re-Timer SAD Light Therapy GlassesThe Re-Timer SAD Light Therapy Glasses are something new and “innovative in the treatment of mood and sleep disorders that should catch the eye of many potential buyers. There are many different lamps and devices on the market for the treatment of SAD and they all try to find the perfect shape and perfect way to emit light to help users overcome their disorder.

These glasses are appealing to sufferers because they take an entirely different approach and eliminate the need for those bulky lights that take up so much space on desks and workspaces. These glasses are an interesting idea but are they really able to make a positive difference?

How beneficial have these Re-Timer SAD Glasses been for buyers wanting a new type of treatment method?

The main focus with these glasses is convenience. The selling point here is that this device fits over reading glasses to provide a “glow” at the right level of the spectrum to help users while they are reading or working at their desk. There is some concern from prospective buyers that this product is rated as having 500 lux when top lamps have 10,000 but that is because the source of light is directly beneath the eye and it is actually a desirable level.

Re Timer SAD Light Therapy GlassesThere are great reports of people experiencing positive mood changes and energy levels very quickly after trying these glasses each morning so it must be working pretty well.

On top of this, the glasses have a rechargeable battery with a USB connection for quick and simple charging – the battery lasting for around 4 hours according to users.

This is one of the clear additional benefits of this model and there is the sense that the designers did think about the ease of use and the scientific benefits. The only problem is that they struggle to communicate these benefits to the consumer and there are a couple of design issues.

What are the problems with the Re-Timer wearable 500 lux SAD Light Glasses?

There is a lot of talk about what these glasses are meant to do in the specification, as well as the idea that years of research and development went into them, but there is little about the precise product details and how it actually does it. This has lead to a lot of customer-answered questions and could make people wary about trying this new piece of tech.

These glasses come with the promise of being lightweight, at just 400 grams, and this is not disputed by those that have tried them. The only potential issue here is that some find them a little uncomfortable on the bridge of the nose.

Summary: with all of this in mind, is this Re-Timer wearable light still highly recommendable?

It seems that it is still early days with the design and development of this new model and updated versions could work out the kinks and be more informative in the future. The positive thing to take away here is that there is nothing too major that needs to change with these Re-Timer wearable SAD Light Glasses; the initial idea of wearing glasses while getting ready in the morning is a hit, there are some nice features and it seems to be working with speed and effectiveness.
