SAD Light Therapy Process
NatureBright PER3 produces the wave length and light intensity for improving your health. It resets your internal cycles and adjusts the body clock gently.
It features a natural light alarm clock having dawn and dusk simulators making the sleeping and waking states easy.
This gentle SAD lamp keeps you energized during waking hours and helps you sleep better and earlier during the night. It can also be used as a bedside lamp which is bright enough for reading.
Dawn and Dusk Simulation Therapy
The NatureBright PER3 simulates the gradual increase of light in sunrise and the slow fading of light in sunset with its naturalistic dawn and dusk simulation and bright light therapy.
When used regularly, this lamp recalibrates the body’s internal clock. The body reacts to the subtle changes resulting in more balanced and sound sleep cycles.
Other great benefits:
- Eliminates the 30 minutes necessary for conventional morning SAD light therapy
- Twice as effective at reversing SAD symptoms, thanks to naturalistic dawn simulation therapy and bright light therapy
- No UV rays; powered by solely non-invasive technology
- Long lasting (up to 100,000 hours)
- Energy efficient (consumes only 1/10 the power of incandescent lights)
- As portable and versatile as an alarm clock or reading lamp
How to Use PER3 SAD Lamp
Place the lamp on a table and allow your face to be illuminated by the bright light. Rotate the head of the lamp in such a way that the light bathes over your face.
The recommended time of exposure is from 15 to 30 minutes a day immediately after waking up in the morning, combining dawn and dusk therapy sessions for optimum results.
NatureBright PER3 Deluxe SAD Light Box Reviews
NatureBright PER3 Deluxe SAD Lamp has some online reviews which are mostly positive. The pleased users reported that this SAD light box is amongst the most powerful in the price range. The other wake-up alarm clock lamps seemed considerably less powerful and probably of less therapeutic use.
You can use this SAD lamp as a bedside light that you can dim to the level you prefer. It is a hint of sun in the gloom. That’s pretty much what you have to be for this little gem to have a decent effect.
If you can get within about a foot of the light source, then it does a decent job at alleviating the symptoms of SAD.
On the downside, sometimes two strips of the LED lights no longer work. The decrease button doesn’t want to function every time. There is indeed a fault in the design of this SAD lamp.
This light should be withdrawn due to the faulty LED panel strips. The problem is you have to position it in such a way so that it shines on your eyes, which can be difficult.
It also needs to be fairly close to your eyes to get any SAD benefits, and at 10000 LUX you need at least 30 minutes of exposure. If your eyes are too far away, and/or not open, then you’re not receiving sufficient dosage.
The main concern of few users is the LED panel strips that don’t work every time. However, most users were satisfied with this product’s performance and they noticed improvement in their mood and energy with regular use.
